Could there be life on Mars? Well that’s what Nasa could be announcing in about an hours time (1900GMT) but am I the only one who saw the front page of the paper this morning at work and said to themselves “meh”

I only feel this way because we have been here before.
In 1996, they said they had discovered fossilised organisms in a meteorite from the planet but other scientists were sceptical and it has never really been proved or disproved.

The reason there may be life on the red planet? Nasa scientists believe ALIEN microbes living just below the Martian soil are responsible for a haze of methane around the Red Planet. Nasa’s findings confirm studies by Europe’s Mars Express probe, which has been orbiting the planet for five years and also reported signs of methane in 2004.

Now at this point I could comment on where the methane came from, maybe….. Uranus, but that’s just too easy so I won’t. Untill Nasa or whoever have hard proof I'm afraid I have to say "meh".
